The campaign of Mary Peltola said it was focused on issues important to Alaska and did not approve a message of support from Ms. Harris.Former Representative Mary Peltola of Alaska did not appear to be happy that former Vice President Kamala Harris put out a fund-raising appeal on her behalf. Ms. Harris lost the 2024 presidential election in Alaska by 14 points.
