Tyson Foods to Shut Major Beef Facility in Nebraska

The processing plant, in Lexington, employs more than 3,000 workers. It is expected to close in January.Tyson said on its latest earnings call that it expected operating losses on beef to be between $400 million and $600 million over the coming fiscal year.
