CVS to Split Off Drugstore Business, Ending Its Bigger-Is-Better Era

In a breakup planned for 2028, CVS Health intends to keep together its insurance and pharmacy benefits divisions and create a separate company for its pharmacies.CVS Health will spin off its drugstores, mail-order business and in-store medical clinics.
