The investigation appears to be related to a $6 million contract the district had with a tech start-up whose staff had ties to the superintendent, Alberto Carvalho.The F.B.I. raided the home of Alberto M. Carvalho, superintendent of the Los Angeles Unified School District, and the district offices on Wednesday.
